This is the fifth objection, showing that the noble ones would fall into the view of existence. It means: why does the Buddha make those ordinary beings leave behind views of existence and non-existence, and yet cling to the real nature of phenomena, the realm of noble wisdom, thereby falling into the view of existence? Why does he not speak of the empty tathāgatagarbha, the extinguished Dharma beyond the reach of mental functioning, but speaks instead of the real intrinsic nature traversed by noble wisdom? This falls into the view of existence. The Buddha also stated above that the discriminated nature of phenomena does not exist in such a way, which falls into the view of non-existence. This objects that the noble ones also fall into existence and non-existence.
