6.244
此明諸法性相本不生也。外道不了計虛妄法,成立有生,以彼所立生者非謂因緣所成也,計從神我冥諦等生也。若能覺了法從緣生即無自性,無自性故即是無生也。
This clarifies that the nature and characteristics of all phenomena are fundamentally unarisen. The heterodox do not understand and falsely imagine illusory phenomena, establishing that there is arising; yet what they establish as arising is not said to be accomplished through causes and conditions, but rather imagined to arise from a spiritual soul (ātman), the primal principle (pradhāna), and so forth. If one can awaken to the fact that phenomena arise from conditions, they are then without intrinsic nature; and because they are without intrinsic nature, they are precisely unarisen.
