6.258

大慧因上言三有唯假名，無有實法體。又云一切法不生，智者不分別。故舉此智不得能所分別以請問也。

Because it was previously stated that the three realms of existence are merely provisional names and have no real phenomenal substance, and furthermore that all phenomena are unarisen and the wise do not discriminate them, Mahāmati therefore cites this wisdom which does not apprehend subject and object discrimination to ask his question.
