6.280

言彼愚夫不覺諸法唯是自心現量，計我我所分別境智以為實有，以障礙遠近諸根不具故，不知外法是有是無，即名無智，名為斷見。

This means that those foolish people do not realize that all phenomena are merely the direct perception of their own mind, and reckoning ātman and ātmīya, they discriminate object and wisdom as truly existent. Because of obstructions, distance, proximity, or defective sense faculties, they do not know whether external phenomena exist or do not exist, which is then called non-wisdom and called the view of annihilationism.
