6.282

言三界萬法唯心建立者，是一切如來應眾生病發藥之要也。故伽陀云「知諸法唯心，便捨外塵相，由此息分別，悟平等真如。」是謂但離妄緣即如如佛，凡情聖量不待別作觀行而自銷殞。

The statement that the ten thousand phenomena of the three realms are established of mind alone is the essential medicine dispensed by all Tathāgatas in response to sentient beings' illnesses. Therefore the gāthā says: "Knowing that all phenomena are mind alone, / One immediately abandons the marks of external dust; / Thereby stopping discrimination, / One awakens to the equal tathatā." This means that simply by departing from false conditions, one is the tathatā Buddha, and mundane feelings and noble cognitions dissolve of themselves without awaiting a separate practice of contemplation.
