7.119

若如來法身是作，法則是無常，佛不忍可；若非作，法則無體性，非作因成，是故法身非作非非作也。

If the Tathāgata's Dharmakāya were created, the phenomenon would be impermanent, which the Buddha does not accept; if uncreated, the phenomenon would lack substantial nature and be established through an uncreated cause; therefore the Dharmakāya is neither created nor uncreated.
