外道妄覺、二乘偏覺，非現前見。菩薩分覺雖勝，亦未究竟。如來現見如來藏，如視掌中菴摩勒果，皎然非謬。

The false awareness of non-Buddhists and the one-sided awareness of the two vehicles are not direct perception. Although the partial awareness of bodhisattvas is superior, it is still not ultimate. The Tathāgata directly perceives the tathāgatagarbha just like seeing an āmalaka fruit in the palm of his hand, crystal-clear and without error.
