8.116

如鏡因前境故，有虛偽色像現；亦如如來藏因七輒識無始惡習熏故，有三界依正妄法現。如實觀者，一切悉無耳。

Just as unreal forms and images appear in a mirror due to the objects before it, so too due to the perfuming of the beginningless evil habit-energy of the seven turning consciousnesses upon the tathāgatagarbha, the false phenomena of the container and sentient realms in the three worlds appear. When contemplated in accordance with reality, all are completely nonexistent.
