注大乘入楞伽經 8.186

8.186

言有無邊際者，不異妄分別也。若離妄分別外別有眾生，即有眾生斷生死得解脫。今觀知與所知一切諸法，本來寂滅，唯在眾生了不了耳！

This means that having or not having a boundary is not different from false discrimination. If apart from false discrimination there were other sentient beings, then there would be sentient beings who sever saṃsāra and attain liberation. Now when observing all phenomena, both the knowing and the known, they are fundamentally quiescent; it depends solely on whether sentient beings understand or do not understand!
