8.33

總結上七種無常，及等餘外道妄想分別見無常性。如彼計謂火燒四大時，而不能燒諸大自相。言若能燒者，能造所造後應斷滅，以見不斷故，計大種性常。

This concludes above the seven kinds of impermanence and the rest of the non-Buddhists' conceptual discrimination of the nature of impermanence. As they posit, when fire burns the four primary elements, it cannot burn the individual characteristics of the primary elements. They claim that if it could burn them, then the producer and the produced would subsequently be annihilated; and seeing that they are not annihilated, they posit that the nature of the primary elements is permanent.
