爾時世尊重說頌言：「愚分別有為，空無常剎那，分別剎那義，如河燈種子。」
At that time, the World-Honoured One restated the meaning in verse: / 'The foolish discriminate the conditioned / as empty, impermanent, and momentary; / they discriminate the meaning of the momentary / like a river, a lamp, or a seed.'
