言凡食淨食，尚如服藥想、如食子肉想，何況食肉？是故比丘少欲知足而行乞食以斷貪愛。

This means that whenever eating pure food, one should still regard it as taking medicine, or regard it as eating the flesh of an only child; how much more so with eating meat? Therefore, bhikṣus should have few desires and be content, practicing begging for food to cut off greed and craving.
