"Pradhāna" (勝性) is also translated as "excellent and subtle"; it is the lord of the gods who gives birth to the Brahmā heaven. "Puruṣa" (丈夫) is another name for the self (ātman). "Īśvara" (自在) refers to Maheśvara. As well as those who reckon time, subtle atoms (paramāṇu), and the like to be the active creator. Further different attachments are explained in detail below.
