This clarifies that what the bodhisattva realizes is the joy of the correct attainment that understands all dharmas are fundamentally unborn in nature, unlike the śrāvaka who ceases the aggregates, realms, and bases to seek the joy of nirvāṇa. Although the bodhisattva also attains this realm of noble wisdom, on account of the fundamental vow of great compassion, he does not realize and grasp quietude and the joy of samādhi; therefore he admonishes all bodhisattvas that they should not cultivate and study within this joy.
