This explains that the various hindrances of dharmas of the seven transforming consciousnesses and the habit-energies of the storehouse consciousness, and so forth, are the false substance, unreal and impermanent, of all sentient beings; they are not the cause of nirvāṇa and cannot accomplish the Way. If the seven consciousnesses are extinguished, one attains liberation from all hindrances of dharmas, and the habit-energies of the storehouse consciousness are extinguished, being ultimately pure—that is to say, false conceptualization is extinguished, which is called nirvāṇa and called accomplishing the Buddha Way. This answers the third question.
