佛言：「剃除鬚髮，而為沙門，受佛法者，去世資財，乞求取足，日中一食，樹下一宿，慎不再矣！」
The Buddha said: 'Those who shave off their beard and hair to become śramaṇas and receive the Buddha's teachings abandon worldly wealth and property, begging only for what suffices. Eating one meal a day at midday and spending the night under a tree, they are careful not to repeat it!'
