一發之後永無忘失，無忘失故魔惑不嬈。下佛答：「有無俱離，覺照亦泯，能所絕等即離諸病。此乃不發一切心，名真發清淨心也。」

[Commentary:] Once aroused, it is never forgotten; because it is never forgotten, the confusions of Māra do not disturb it. Below, the Buddha replies: "Both existence and non-existence are left behind, illumination is also obliterated, and subject and object are eliminated," etc., which is leaving all defects behind. This is not arousing any mind, which is called truly arousing the pure mind.
