[Commentary:] After the Buddha's parinirvāṇa, the correct Dharma and the semblance Dharma last one thousand years each, and the final Dharma lasts ten thousand years. The final Dharma is the final age; being far removed from the Sage, it is profoundly worrying. Therefore, in revealing the benefit, he specifically concludes by pointing to it. Furthermore, having first indicated this assembly and now concluding with the future, by complementary implication both the present and future are benefited. In the Vajrasamādhi Sūtra, Bodhisattva Vimukti also requested the expounding of the one-flavor definitive reality for the sentient beings of the five corruptions in the final kalpa, so that they might equally attain liberation.
