《智論》釋云：「再言之者，善之至也。」大乘了義理合宣揚，針芥未投且默斯要。既當嘉會，根熟咸臻，將演妙門，必資發問。今之所請，實謂起予，利樂寔多，再言歎善。

[Commentary:] The commentary in the Dazhidulun states: "Saying it twice represents the utmost excellence." The definitive meaning of the Great Vehicle should rightly be expounded, but before the needle and mustard seed meet, one remains silent about this essential teaching. Since they have met in this fine assembly and those whose faculties have ripened have all arrived, when about to expound the wondrous gateway, one must rely on questions being raised. What is requested now truly stimulates the teacher to speak; the benefits and joys are truly abundant, hence he repeats the words to praise its excellence.
