正說長行中四：一標幻從覺生以為義本、二明幻盡覺滿以釋前疑、三令離幻顯覺正示用心、四辨幻覺不俱結酬其請。

Within the prose of the formal exposition there are four parts: 1. indicating that illusion is born from enlightenment as the doctrinal basis, 2. clarifying that when illusion is exhausted enlightenment is complete to resolve the earlier doubt, 3. causing them to leave illusion to reveal enlightenment to directly show the application of mind, and 4. distinguishing that illusion and enlightenment do not coexist to conclude the response to the request.
