This illustrates the basis of the preceding meaning. It means that in the sky there is ultimately no arising and ceasing, but solely because of cataracts in the eyes one sees flowers in the sky; since the flowers at the time of the cataracts appear in reliance on the sky, it is said that they "exist from the sky." Just so, the wondrous nature of perfect enlightenment ultimately has no arising, but solely because the mind is deluded one sees delusion within the nature; since the delusion at the time of delusion appears in reliance on enlightenment, it is said that it is "born from enlightenment."
