謂此幻心由智了達方得除滅，所了是幻，能了亦幻。則前疑云：幻幻何修？今答意云：不妨以幻除幻。又前云：幻盡斷滅。次下答云：

This means that this illusory mind can only be eliminated and extinguished through comprehension by wisdom; that which is comprehended is illusion, and that which comprehends is also illusion. Hence, the earlier doubt asked: if both are illusions, how can one cultivate? Now the intended answer is: there is no hindrance to using illusion to eliminate illusion.
