言假說者，以覺性本圓，妄法本寂，實無所修。但以初悟之人迷習難為頓息，是以請於無修之中假說修習方便。下三唱倣前。

Speaking of 'provisionally expounding': because the nature of enlightenment is originally perfect and illusory phenomena are originally quiescent, there is truly nothing to cultivate. Yet, because the habits of delusion in those newly awakened are difficult to halt suddenly, he therefore asks to provisionally expound expedient means of cultivation within that which is uncultivated. The three subsequent enunciations follow the previous model.
