Since the conditioning objects have ceased, the substance of the mind is empty; therefore it definitively concludes: 'ultimately none exists.' The 'conditioning mind' refers to the aforementioned mind of intentional energy. Question: 'The three lines beginning with "no sense objects can be found" also speak of the emptiness of dharmas; why then are they definitively categorized solely under the emptiness of persons?' Answer: 'This refers to the dispersion of each condition and object, precisely revealing the emptiness of the mind; therefore it concludes that no mind can be seen. Both body and mind entirely belong to the grasping at a self.'
