顯圓覺雖現，非其定實，故云愚說。《論》云：「一切染法所不能染，智體不動，具足無漏熏眾生故。」

This clarifies that although perfect enlightenment appears, they are not its fixed reality; hence it is called 'the talk of the foolish.' The Treatise states: 'It cannot be defiled by any defiled dharmas; the substance of wisdom is unmoved, because it is fully endowed with untainted perfuming of sentient beings.'
