明此世界不即圓覺，亦不離圓覺。如華與空、如金與器，由不離故，覺性奪之成空華；由不即故，世界不妨有起滅。

This explains that these worlds are neither identical with perfect enlightenment nor separate from perfect enlightenment. They are like flowers and the sky, or like gold and vessels. Because they are not separate, the enlightened nature sublates them, rendering them flowers in the sky; because they are not identical, worlds do not fail to have arising and ceasing.
