欲度有過眾生，先以同事相攝，心既相親，方能受教。如《淨名》云：「入諸淫舍，示欲之過」等。亦同《華嚴》善財善友婆須蜜女等。

Wishing to deliver sentient beings who have faults, one first gathers them in through shared actions; once minds are close, they can then receive the teaching. As the Vimalakīrti-nirdeśa says: "Entering brothels, showing the faults of lust," and so forth. It is also like the good friend of Sudhana in the Avataṃsaka Sūtra, the woman Vasumitrā, and others.
