此以四惑相應，妄計賴耶為自內我，於平等理中起不平等見。今既所緣性寂，能緣七識自如，如性皆同，故平等矣。

Here, due to association with the four afflictions, one falsely calculates the ālaya[vijñāna] as one's internal self, giving rise to views of inequality within the principle of equality. Now, since the conditioned object is by nature quiescent, the conditioning seventh consciousness is naturally so; as the nature of suchness is entirely identical, it is therefore equal.
