前問云：「三種淨觀以何為首？」故具答已結云是名等也。即知前段三觀諸輪雖具釋相，趣入方便是此所明。

The previous question said: 'Which is the foremost among the three kinds of pure contemplation?' Therefore, having fully answered, it concludes by saying 'these are called,' and so on. Thus we know that although the previous section on the wheels of the three contemplations fully explained their marks, the expedient means of entering them are what is clarified here.
