2.1307

「奢摩他至靜，三摩正憶持，
禪邪明數門，是名三淨觀（別修）。
若能勤修習，是名佛出世（遍修）。
鈍根未成者，常當勤心懺，
無始一切罪，諸障若消滅，
佛境便現前。」

"Śamatha is ultimate stillness,
Samā[patti] is correct recollection,
Dhyāna clarifies the approach of counting;
These are called the three pure contemplations (cultivated separately).
If one can cultivate them diligently,
This is called a buddha appearing in the world (cultivated comprehensively).
Those of dull faculties who have not yet accomplished them
Should always diligently repent in their minds
All sins from beginningless time;
If all obstacles are eliminated,
The realm of the buddha will then appear before them."
