總標也。謂智明圓覺無分別心故，列十對法皆同真實，即《論》中見性常住等也。又若見有障可斷，斷已名覺，覺非究竟，故障礙即覺方究竟矣。障礙者，標每對中上句；究竟覺即標下句。十對者，

This is a general statement. It means that because the wisdom that understands perfect enlightenment lacks a discriminative mind, the ten pairs of dharmas listed are all equally real; this is what the Treatise refers to as 'seeing the nature as eternally abiding,' and so on. Furthermore, if one sees that there are hindrances that can be severed, and that once severed it is called enlightenment, such enlightenment is not ultimate. Only when hindrances are themselves enlightenment is it ultimate. 'Hindrances' states the first clause in each pair; 'ultimate enlightenment' states the second clause. The ten pairs are:
