作是語已，五體投地。如是三請，終而復始。爾時，世尊告辨音菩薩言：「善哉！善哉！善男子！汝等乃能為諸大眾及末世眾生，問於如來如是修習。汝今諦聽！當為汝說。」時，辨音菩薩奉教歡喜，及諸大眾默然而聽。

Having spoken these words, he threw his five limbs to the ground. He made this request three times, ending and beginning again. At that time, the Bhagavat told Voice of Discernment Bodhisattva, "Excellent, excellent! Good son, you are indeed able to inquire of the Tathāgata about such cultivation for the sake of the great assembly and sentient beings of the degenerate age. Listen closely now, and I shall explain it for you." Then Voice of Discernment Bodhisattva joyfully received the teaching, and the great assembly listened in silence.
