庖丁是晉時屠子，十九年以一刀解牛，鋒刃不損。喻菩薩利眾生、修萬行，應緣入俗，自智無傷。餘義已如前釋。

Cook Ding was a butcher in the Jin era who dismembered oxen with a single blade for nineteen years without damaging its cutting edge. This is an analogy for the bodhisattva benefiting sentient beings, cultivating the myriad practices, and responding to conditions by entering the secular world while his own wisdom remains undamaged.
