「若諸菩薩以寂滅力無作自性（寂）起於作用，清淨境界（幻）歸於靜慮（靜），此菩薩者，名先修禪那、中修三摩鉢提、後修奢摩他。」

"If these bodhisattvas, through the unconditioned intrinsic nature of the power of quiescence (quiescence), generate functions, and from pure realms (illusion) return to meditative stabilization (stillness), this bodhisattva is said to cultivate dhyāna first, samāpatti in the middle, and śamatha last."
