趣寂耽空，志在灰身滅智。然上十句總當二乘宗中生滅四諦也。謂初六句集諦，次二句苦諦，次一句道諦，後一句滅諦。

They incline toward quiescence and indulge in emptiness, setting their intent on reducing the body to ashes and annihilating cognition. Now, the preceding ten lines correspond on the whole to the four noble truths of arising and ceasing within the tenets of the two vehicles: the first six lines are the truth of origination, the next two lines are the truth of suffering, the next line is the truth of the path, and the last line is the truth of cessation.
