前問云：「因何使諸眾生不入？」故此答云：「非覺違拒使之不入，但由認我故不入也。」如夢身未忘，不能合於本身，非本身違拒。

The previous question asked: 'What causes sentient beings not to enter?' Therefore this answer says: 'It is not that enlightenment resists and repels them, causing them not to enter; it is solely because of identifying with a self that they do not enter.' Just as when one has not yet forgotten the body in a dream, one cannot unite with one's real body—it is not that the real body resists and repels.
