不了自心，故非聖道。前指無明，此標貪愛，發潤備矣。然十惡業一向須除，十善、八定則但除其病。

Not having realized their own minds, it is not the noble path. The former indicated avidyā, and this marks craving and desire; the initiation and the moistening [of karma] are thus complete. However, the ten evil karmas must be eliminated entirely, while with the ten virtues and the eight concentrations, one need only eliminate their defect.
