既將此心修行，則行行皆帶能所，故不成聖，正同《華嚴》多劫六度，不名菩薩。

Since they use this mind to cultivate practices, every single practice carries subject and object; therefore they do not become noble ones. This is just the same as the Huayan [statement that] practicing the six pāramitās for many kalpas is not termed a bodhisattva.
