《華嚴》亦云：「不能了自心，增長一切惡」等。又《智論》云：「多聞無智慧，是不知實相。譬如大闇中，有燈而無目」等。
The Avataṃsaka also says: 'Being unable to comprehend one's own mind increases all evils,' and so forth. Furthermore, the Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa says: 'Wide learning without wisdom is not knowing dharmatā. It is like being in great darkness with a lamp but no eyes,' and so forth.
