結成因也。由前說除我用心，當時雖悟，仍慮長時難離我習，故佛誡云：「但得頓悟我空，勤斷煩惱，我見習氣漸盡，無上佛果自然漸成。」

This concludes the cause of achievement. Because the previous passage spoke of eliminating the mental effort regarding the self, although one awakens at that moment, there is still the concern that it is difficult over a long time to be free of the habit of the self. Therefore, the Buddha admonishes: "Only if one suddenly awakens to the emptiness of self and diligently cuts off defilements, so that the habit-energy of the view of self is gradually exhausted, will the unexcelled fruit of buddhahood naturally be gradually accomplished."
