10.77

𤙖是恐怖之義，以威猛之力遍破諸縛同於大空。泮吒是不生義，猶體壞不令生，故必當死。謂破諸法無所不遍，悉令永不復生，同於大空諸佛解脫，即入佛不共法之頂也。

*Hūṃ* has the meaning of terrification, by ferocious power universally breaking all bonds identical to great emptiness. *Phaṭ* has the meaning of non-arising: just as when the substance is destroyed it is not permitted to arise, so it must certainly die. It means breaking all dharmas without exception, causing them all never to arise again, identical to the great emptiness liberation of all buddhas, which is to enter the summit of the distinct qualities of a buddha.
