11.26

經云「當知真言果，悉離於因業」者，則明因是有所作法法，因既有作，當知果亦有所作。既有所作，何能成真實？當知果離於因業也。

The sūtra says: 'One should know that the effects of mantras are entirely free from causal karma.' This explains that a cause is a conditioned phenomenon; since the cause is conditioned, one should know that the effect is also conditioned. Since it is conditioned, how could it achieve reality? One should know that effects are free from causal karma.
