次馬頭印。作三補吒，屈二風指合甲，去空指根下，挾一麥許不相着。其二空指並竪，稍仰其甲頭是也。真言。
Next is the mudrā of Hayagrīva. Form the saṃpuṭa, bend the two wind [index] fingers with nails joined, placed below the roots of the space [thumbs] leaving a barleycorn's space without touching them. The two space [thumbs] are erected side by side, slightly tilting their nail-tips upward; this is it. The mantra:
