言此菩薩得自在同佛境界，從法而生，故名法生也。謂從自性清淨之法而生也。
This means that this bodhisattva has attained sovereignty equal to the realm of a buddha and is born from Dharma, hence named Dharmasamudgata ('Born of Dharma'); that is, born from the inherently pure Dharma.
