次二手合掌，二空指亦並，與極磔之，令與餘指相離，仡栗何印也（此別是一趣，非人非鬼也，能恐怖人，非人所持者是也。今非此也，是曜）。若近宿，即合取九執為定也。真言：

Next, join both hands in añjali, place both space fingers side by side and spread them apart to the extreme, making them separate from the other fingers; this is the mudrā of the grahas (these form a distinct destiny, neither humans nor ghosts; they are those that terrify people, being possessed by non-humans. Here it does not mean these, but refers to the planetary deities). If one is near the asterisms (nakṣatras), one must take the nine grahas as the standard. The mantra is:
