The above [means that] all that the World-Honoured One speaks ultimately reaches the supreme limit of reality; hence it is called the 'unshakeable Dharma'. The Sanskrit gīta has the meaning of 'speaking' and also of 'revealing'. 'Three realms' here in the Sanskrit text properly says 'three times', the intent covering past, present, and future, as well as the three states of existence. Because it can universally reveal the supreme limit of reality to the world, all humans and devas ought to make offerings to this Dharma in order to repay the great kindness. The Sanskrit śaṃkara is translated as 'making peace' (śāntikara). This 'making' carries the meaning of being able to make, causing to obtain, and attaining. This Dharma can cause sentient beings to awaken to the original nature of all dharmas as eternally tranquil, with inner and outer obstacles ultimately never arising; hence it is called 'eternally pacified'. The same applies below. Because the Tathāgata's appearance in the world can proclaim this Dharma, it is called the 'second good'.
