Regarding "Space is immaculate and without intrinsic nature, / capable of bestowing all kinds of ingenious wisdom": the mind of sarvajñajñāna is equal to space—immaculate, immeasurable, unhindered, and without discrimination; this is the Dharma directly realized in the great emptiness of all buddhas. Without intrinsic nature means that this immaculate and pure dharmadhātu of emptiness also has no intrinsic nature and cannot be grasped. Because it is this very great emptiness, unconditioned and also without intrinsic nature, it can give birth to sarvajñajñāna, which is "ingenious wisdom," another name for wisdom. Were it not ingenious wisdom, how could it, in accordance with the various mental dispositions of all sentient beings, manifest the bodies they delight to see, speak the teachings they ought to hear, and match their capacities for understanding, so that all enter the universal dharmadhātu without failure? This is the utmost ingenuity among ingenuities. Because equal emptiness has no intrinsic nature, and the arising and cessation of characteristics are also without nature, it has mastery over phenomena and can generate ingenious wisdom, universally granting the wishes of all sentient beings. It is inconceivable and beyond measure.
