Space has no fixed form, yet it manifests variously. Flowing forth from the maṇḍala of the moon disc and gathered mist like milk streaming down, it can eliminate all feverish affliction—namely, inner and outer hindrances are precisely feverish hindrances, all of which this can remove. To 'be freed' means to escape these sufferings and afflictions. Thus tying the mind to a single object, one accomplishes ghee, milk, pearl necklaces, lotus roots, crystal, curd, or water. Such substances are numerous; whatever one wishes to perform according to one's heart, provided it corresponds with the pacification of disasters, will all be accomplished. Whether one seeks longevity and living long without measure, or manifesting various wonderfully exquisite and extraordinary marks on one's body. Or what is called 'the most supreme' is the most supreme in subjugating through love and respect, causing others to love and respect one. Or whether one seeks retention of what is heard, or seeks sharpness of intellect, or seeks wisdom, and the pacification of various diseases—all such things can be accomplished. If a bindu is placed upon this syllable va, then in eliminating matters such as illness and affliction, as well as inner and outer poisons, one will swiftly achieve accomplishment. This is the auspicious maṇḍala of pacifying disasters. Yet because it encompasses and eliminates immeasurable things, it says 'and so forth.'
