In the Sanskrit text, 'felicity' inherently contains the meaning of 'time'; the same applies below. This refers to when the bodhisattva was in the womb, and all worlds had immeasurable auspicious events, as also extensively spoken in the 'Entry into the Dharmadhātu' and 'Transcendence of the World' chapters of the Avataṃsaka. Boundless great bodhisattva assemblies of the ten directions gathered together within the womb to hear the Dharma; therefore, it is inconceivable. In contrast to the meaning of 'thus gone' in the previous verse, here it is explained as coming to achieve right awakening, which also suits the tenor of the meaning. Just as when the bodhisattva was in the womb, all the devas of great majestic power without exception praised and paid homage to him, you now also take holy rebirth in the womb of the Mother of Buddhas, Gaganāmalalocanā; therefore, the dragon spirits of the eight classes together revere and honour you. Hence it says 'attain the felicity identical to that'.
