1.22

初、釋名者，隨修性理清淨行，護戒保身言守護，修必得果言增益。

First, explaining the title: Practicing pure conduct in accordance with nature and principle, protecting the precepts and preserving the body is called “protecting”; and cultivating so that one definitely attains the fruit is called “increasing”.
